Erskine Chambers remote office working arrangements
We are continuing to offer a full service to our clients whilst also prioritising the health and welfare of our staff, members and clients. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak the Erskine Chambers building has been temporarily closed. We have the technology to provide continuity of service to clients and ensure that we operate business as usual.
The following temporary procedures are in place:
All our members and staff will be working remotely.
Where appropriate, members of chambers are able to organise court hearings and conferences via telephone and / or video using Skype for Business and Zoom, in accordance with the Lord Chief Justice’s Guidance and the Business and Property Courts Protocol for Remote Hearings.
Reception will continue to answer all calls made to our main switchboard number on 0207 242 5532 and our clerking team are available via the usual contact methods and at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Please send papers electronically, rather than via post or DX.
If any hard copies of papers need to be delivered, please contact the respective clerking contacts to organise delivery. Please do not send papers to Chambers without prior arrangement as there may be an additional delay in getting to their intended recipient.
We shall continue to monitor and review this situation.
