During the past five years, Andrew has been involved in many of the leading corporate transactions in the UK. In particular, Andrew has acted in over 100 corporate takeovers and most notably was instructed in relation to the merger between Xstrata Plc and Glencore Group Plc, the acquisition of the London Metal Exchange, the return of capital scheme for Vodafone Plc following its disposal of its Verizon joint venture and the acquisition of Sportingbet Plc.

Andrew has acted in relation to many cross-border mergers, including those in respect of the Honda, Sony and Sanyo groups.

Schemes in respect of which Andrew has previously acted include the acquisitions of Alliance Boots Plc, Hanson Plc, ICI Plc, Countrywide plc, Crest Nicholson and Corus Plc.

During the past year, Andrew acted in respect of a substantial number of capital reductions. Clients represented include some of the largest FTSE 100 companies.

In October 2018, Andrew was named Company/Insolvency Junior of the Year by Chambers & Partners.
